New generation setting plasticizer and accelerator, specially designed for increasing plasticity during pumping and leveling, as well as for accelerating curing, in floor cladding applications.
As plasticizer: When added during cement screed preparation in equal quantity of water, it increases its viscosity. This way, adding further water is not necessary as this would lead to unnecessary cracking and reduction of cement screed strength. Increases initial and final strength, improves watertightness and facilitates leveling as well as pumping of cement mortar and of light insulation cladding materials.
Allows tradesmen to convert cement - by adding marine or river sand - into a self leveling material for smoothing high - standard floors at a very low cost.
As accelerator: Allows cement screed casting at low temperatures, acceleration of operations and reduction of delivery times.
Application
DUROSTICK DS-76 is an indispensable aid to tradesmen for the proper preparation of floors.
Combined with a proper supplement of sand and cement, it provides the ideal substrate for the installation of tiles, marble, carpets etc.
Adding DUROSTICK acrylic emulsion D-20 to mixing water at a ratio of 1:1 increases the elasticity of cement screed and makes it suitable for underfloor heating cladding applications.
Instuctions
1. Preparation
Ensure the supply of washed marine sand or river sand whose granularity is suitable for thickness requirements. Dry mortar, cement to sand proportion is 1 : 4 parts by weight.
2. Application
The whole bag of DS-76 is dimensioned for mixing with 50 kg of Portland cement. Depending on the quantity of cement screed to be prepared, pour the entire quantity or part of it in water and stir in the concrete mixer. Then feed sand and cement until the mixture becomes homogenous.
